The book is mostly encouraging text (and fun pictures!) with fingerboard diagrams to show which notes will sound the best to each jam-along track and just a little music notation on a couple lessons toward the end of the book. “Wit & Wisdom” pages offer additional tips on making your jamming experience even more positive. 46 pp.
The accompanying CD is a split mix where you can jam along with the author and the band in one speaker or jam with just the band in the other. Each lesson has 2 tracks: one of the author explaining the scale and giving a few tips and the other being the actual jam-along track. 44 cuts.
